FAQ’S • HAMILTON YAT?STATS

Quick answers to the most common questions from parents, players, coaches, and collectors about the Hamilton “Next-Level” tracker and the YAT?STATS platform.

What is YAT?STATS and how is Hamilton involved?
YAT?STATS is a “Where They Yat?” tracking platform that follows Hamilton High School baseball alumni once they leave campus — college, pro ball, independent leagues, or life after baseball. Hamilton is the pilot program and the first school to have a dedicated microsite and all–time next-level list.
Who gets included on the Next-Level All-Time List?
Any Hamilton Husky who appears on a college, professional, or independent roster after graduation is eligible for the list. That includes drafted and signed players, four-year colleges, JUCO, NAIA, and approved international or indy teams. Redshirts still count once they’re on an official roster.
Where do the stats and “next game” info come from?
Most stats are pulled from public box scores and school / league sites, then organized in the Hamilton YAT?STATS dashboard. “Next game” information is manually entered or updated from the same public schedules so parents and fans have a one-stop place to check who’s playing tonight.
What does “Where Are You Now?” mean on retired player cards?
Once a player retires from baseball, the focus shifts from box scores to real life. The “Where Are You Now?” button is a bridge into sponsor, mentor, or career-path stories — alumni who are now business owners, coaches, parents, or community leaders. Those stories will live on the main YAT?STATS site and in the Mentorship Marketplace.
How does an alum update their photo, bio, or social links?
Alumni (or parents) can submit updates by contacting the site admin through the YAT?STATS contact form or by emailing the Hamilton YAT?STATS coordinator. Once verified, new photos, socials, and notes get added to the player’s profile card and timeline gallery.
What is the Mentorship Marketplace?
The Mentorship Marketplace is a future feature where Hamilton alumni can offer one-on-one feedback, video breakdowns, or small-group sessions for current players, youth teams, or fans. Think “Cameo meets private baseball lessons,” built around trusted Huskies.
How can local businesses become sponsors?
Sponsors can support Hamilton baseball and the YAT?STATS platform by purchasing banner placements, sponsoring specific alumni cards, or backing the “Where Are You Now?” storytelling series. Visit yatstats.com/sponsors to learn more.
Who runs this site?
The Hamilton YAT?STATS microsite is maintained in collaboration with the Hamilton baseball program and the YAT?STATS founder. It is an independent storytelling and tracking project and is not an official ASUSD website.
